Our children are diagnosed with Autism by Neurologists, not Educators.
Autism has become an epidemic with 1 out of every 150 births now resulting in an autism diagnosis. The long term ramifications
of not treating our children will be catastrophic for them, for parents and families and for society as a whole. Doing
nothing is not an option. Thus far, Health Insurers have denied coverage for ABA related services that can have
significant positive outcomes for many of our children. Many of our children can’t speak so we must be their voice.
Let our legislators know they need to require Health Insurers to cover ABA and similar type services.
